Company & LLP compliance

ACTIVE / INC-22A status review.

Check whether the company falls within the historical ACTIVE filing scope and assess outstanding compliance.

Scope before commitment Requirements explained
01 / THE BIG PICTURE

The right support.
With the details in view.

Establish whether the company falls within the historical ACTIVE verification requirement and whether an unresolved status affects planned filings. We review incorporation date, exemptions and MCA records before requesting evidence. INC-22A is not a routine annual filing or a universal requirement for newly formed companies.

First, establish what applies

Company, LLP and proprietorship obligations differ. Filing requirements can continue even when a company or LLP has no revenue; audit and governance rules must be assessed separately.

What the scoped work can cover

  • Written ACTIVE applicability and status assessment
  • Dependency and evidence checklist where filing is needed
  • Submission/status-verification record for the agreed action
02 / GET READY

03 / HOW IT MOVES FORWARD

One step.
Then the next.

A clear sequence, with room to resolve the details that are specific to your business.

  1. 01

    Check historical scope

Review the incorporation cut-off, status and exemptions against the rule.

  2. 02

    Review filing dependencies

Identify missing annual filings or director/officeholder issues affecting the route.

  3. 03

    Prepare evidence if applicable

Organise the current office and officer information required by the portal.

  4. 04

    Track status resolution

Coordinate the applicable submission and verify the resulting master-data status.

Scope, fees and timing are agreed after review. Document readiness, professional review and any authority queries affect the schedule. Statutory charges, testing, execution and other third-party costs are identified where relevant.

04 / BEYOND THIS STEP

05 / A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Useful answers.

01Must every newly incorporated company file INC-22A?+

No. The requirement has a historical incorporation-date scope and exemptions; check applicability first.

02Is INC-22A the registered-office change form?+

No. Office verification and a registered-office change serve different purposes and may require different filings.

03Can an ACTIVE issue affect other filings?+

An ACTIVE-non-compliant status can restrict specified event filings. Review the exact status and proposed transaction before proceeding.
