GST return filing.

Prepare the returns relevant to your registration and filing scheme.

Scope before commitment Requirements explained
01 / THE BIG PICTURE

The right support.
With the details in view.

Bring sales, purchases, tax payments and registration details into a consistent GST filing cycle. We determine the returns relevant to your registration and scheme, prepare the reporting data and review exceptions before the authorised signatory approves the submission and related payment working.

First, establish what applies

GST treatment depends on the supply, turnover, location, registration category and applicable exemptions. Selling online alone does not establish a universal registration rule.

What the scoped work can cover

  • Period-specific return working and exception summary
  • Reviewed tax payment position
  • Filed return acknowledgements for the agreed scope
02 / GET READY

The documents.
A clearer starting point.

Use this as a preparation list for the initial review. The final checklist is confirmed against the applicant, service route, location and current authority requirements.

  1. 01

GSTIN, registration category and filing-period details

  2. 02

Sales invoices, credit/debit notes and export records

  3. 03

Purchase register and inward-supply tax statements

  4. 04

Electronic cash/credit ledger and tax payment records

  5. 05

Earlier filed returns and pending adjustment details

  6. 06

Reverse-charge, exempt-supply and other special transaction workings

Share sensitive records only through an agreed secure channel after the engagement is confirmed. Do not send passwords, OTPs or signing keys.

03 / HOW IT MOVES FORWARD

One step.
Then the next.

A clear sequence, with room to resolve the details that are specific to your business.

  1. 01

    Confirm the filing cycle

Check registration status, scheme and pending periods.

  2. 02

    Validate transaction data

Review invoice classification, tax values and missing or duplicate records.

  3. 03

    Reconcile and approve

Compare books, portal data and liability workings, then obtain approval.

  4. 04

    Submit and preserve

Arrange authorised filing and retain acknowledgements and unresolved-item records.

Scope, fees and timing are agreed after review. Document readiness, professional review and any authority queries affect the schedule. Statutory charges, testing, execution and other third-party costs are identified where relevant.

04 / BEYOND THIS STEP

Keep the next
responsibility in view.

Keep the approved workings and acknowledgements with the books, follow up missing invoices and monitor amendments and annual reconciliation needs as they arise.

05 / A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Useful answers.

01Do I need a return when there are no sales?+

Nil reporting may still be required for the applicable registration and period. Confirm the relevant return rather than skipping the cycle.

02Is GSTR-1 the same as paying GST?+

No. Outward-supply reporting, summary returns and tax payment have different roles in the filing process.

03Will all portal data be correct automatically?+

Auto-populated data must be checked against books, invoices and adjustments before filing.
